Tip of the Week!

Ever since the official release of Version 3.0, we've shared a number of tips and tricks on how you can customize your website to your liking. With more and more clubs becoming more active on social media and creating their own Facebook pages, we're often asked how you can integrate the two, and with Version 3.0, you can! While the built-in Social Share toolbar and the Facebook Like Button allows you to share the content on your website on your social channels, by adding plug-ins such as the Facebook Page plug-in to your website, you also have the ability to share news from your Facebook Page on your own website.

Facebook offers several different plug-ins that allow you to feature your Page on your website - a great way to showcase your group developments and activities to the general public. Note that these plug-ins only work for Pages and not for personal Facebook profiles. To learn more about how to create a Facebook page, please click here.

To place the Page Plug-in on your site, you'll first need to grab the embed code from Facebook. Whether you want to display the photos of those that like your page, your posts, just your cover photo, etc., you can define all the attributes before generating your embed code. You can learn more about how to get this by following the directions here. Once you have this, simply paste this code into a custom widget within the Website Designer - it's that simple! You can find step-by-step directions on how this can be done on our knowledgebase.

We'll feature how you can do this with various social media outlets including Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and more in our next few entries. Have tips and tricks of your own? Share them with us by commenting below.
